Portraits of GuitarArt - GuitarArt supports the Rockdale Relief Foundation featuring "Starry Night" created by artist, Elise Hammond of Oxford, Georgia. Springtime was painted by The Southern Heartland Guild artists and the Mosaic guitar created by artists Cindy Murphy and Jan Jentzen. GuitarArt covered in corn kernels won the Iowa Rock N Roll Museum "Peoples Choice Award"! Encrusted in kernels of field corn and covered with maps of Iowa and the headlight of a vintage Winnebago RV.
Artist Richard Adams created "La Danse" for the Savannah Folk Festival. It features a carved marble base from the historic Lane House; a carved heart pine from the bell tower of St. John's Cathedral; ebony and ivory keys from a 19th century piano; alligator, eel and snake skin recycled from old handbags; diamonds and sapphires set in 18 carat gold! Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sheridan, Wyoming raised money to support the kids in their program with GuitarArt.
